NHL Second round action

After a crazy weekend, its golfing season for many of the NHL's elite players. Brodeur was unable to backstop the Devils to a miraculous comeback, Alfredson...well, he single handedly ended the Sens season with a pathetic defensive effort on a power play. (and this guy was drafted as a defenseman???) Finally, the Sharks better start practising their Golf swings. Perhaps this is why Boston let go of Thornton...where does he go during the playoffs? Maybe he gets together with Alfredson and they talk about ghost stories.

The Eastern Conference finals will prove to be a fast paced, rookie goalie affair, with plenty of high flying action. This just may be some of the best playoff hockey in some time.

I wonder if Anaheim are also golfing...while they wait for the winner of the other series!

Jack Johnson, "King of Hockey".
